Position Overview

Covenant HealthCare is seeking a fellowship trained, BC/BE, orthopaedic trauma surgeon to work full time alongside a 10-physician team in Saginaw, MI. This position would be joining another fellowship trained orthopaedic trauma surgeon. As an ortho trauma specialist at Covenant Healthcare, you will play a pivotal role in providing specialized care focused on polytrauma, acute fractures, complex joint injuries, and other musculoskeletal traumas for patients of all ages in the Great Lakes Bay Region. Your expertise in diagnosing, treating, and surgically managing complex conditions will contribute to improving the quality of life for patients coming into our level two trauma center. This position offers an opportunity to work within a dynamic healthcare environment, collaborating with a multidisciplinary team to deliver exceptional patient care and contribute to advancements in orthopedic surgery.

  • Competitive base salary with RVU-based incentive compensation plan.

Responsibilities:

  • Fractures of pelvis and extremities
  • Nonunion and malunions
  • Bone infections
  • Provide comprehensive pre- and post-operative care to patients
  • Work closely with other healthcare professionals to provide a seamless patient experience

Qualifications:

  • Board-certified or board-eligible in Orthopedic Surgery
  • Fellowship training in Orthopaedic Trauma
  • Strong clinical skills and judgment
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Commitment to providing excellent patient care
