Gundersen Health System, based in La Crosse, Wisconsin, is seeking two Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation physicians to join the group of six physiatrists, six associate staff and two chiropractors.

You will enjoy system referrals and a balanced lifestyle in a friendly, team environment. The PM&R department provides a leadership role in outpatient musculoskeletal medicine and inpatient rehabilitation.

 There is opportunity for a candidate with passion for an outpatient musculoskeletal practice, to include interventional pain. There is the opportunity to perform trigger point injections, fluoro guided spinal injections and ultrasound guided injections. Other current programs include comprehensive interventional medicine integrated with pain management services, EMG and spasticity management. 

We also have opportunity for a candidate most interested in inpatient rehabilitation, as we are expanding our 16 bed CARF accredited unit to 26 beds. 

The PM&R Department is an integral specialty within our comprehensive Neuroscience Center, which includes the services of Neurology, Neurosurgery, Pain Medicine and Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation.
