Emergency Medicine Physicians Needed in Thriving Southeast Metro

Huntsville Hospital seeks BC/BE Emergency Medicine Physicians to join our current staff of 40+ Physicians. We are a progressive 75+ bed Emergency Department looking for additional coverage. The position offers an excellent compensation package including a highly competitive salary with RVU-based incentives, paid vacation, CME allowance, health and life insurance, malpractice insurance, and a 401k plan with employer contribution. The Emergency Department sees approximately 150,000 patient visits per year. Four different units make up our Emergency Department: Level I Trauma Center downtown with 75 beds and fast track, Medical Observation Unit with 16 beds, Pediatric ER at Children’s hospital with 16 beds, and a 21 bed community hospital ER in Madison. We also have an OB ED that is staffed by our OBGYN Hospitalist Team.   Our physicians work an average of 14-15 Nine to Ten hour shifts per month to allow for an excellent work/life balance.

Huntsville Hospital is an 971- bed Level I Trauma Center and the regional referral center for all of North Alabama and Southern Tennessee with a catchment area of 1.25 million people. 165,000 annual ER visits, including a dedicated Pediatric ER at our Women's & Children's Hospital, physician support in over 65 medical specialties. The hospital has 24/7 in-house Hospitalist, Radiology, Cardiology, Trauma, Orthopedic and Neurosurgical Coverage.
