Methodist Le Bonheur Healthcare seeks a Transplant (Abdominal) Surgeon

Nationally recognized for its success with kidney, liver, kidney-pancreas and pancreas transplants, Methodist University Hospital Transplant Institute has been a leader in the field for more than 30 years. 

Our Transplant Institute is dedicated to improving the quality of life and the life expectancy for its organ transplant patients through research breakthroughs, excellence in surgical techniques and meticulous post-operative care.  Our program includes an ASTS Accredited Surgery Fellowship.

Responsibilities include pre-operative and post-operative patient care, transplant related surgical procedures, research activity, and resident and fellow education.  A competitive salary, benefits package, and relocation assistance is offered.

We invite experienced applicants for a Full-Time Faculty position.

Required:

• ACGME Accredited General Surgery Residency
• ASTS Fellowship Training
• American Board of Surgery Certification
• At least 3 years experience with liver and kidney transplantation beyond Fellowship
• Experience with pancreas transplantation is a plus
• Demonstrated interest and experience in clinical research is essential
• The ability to obtain a Tennessee Medical License is also required.
• Authorized to work in the U.S.
