• Diagnosis and Treatment:

  Diagnosing and treating a variety of illnesses, from common colds and flu to chronic conditions like diabetes and hypertension. 

   
• Preventive Care:

  Providing routine check-ups, immunizations, screening tests, and health-risk assessments. 

   
• Chronic Disease Management:

  Managing long-term conditions like diabetes, high blood pressure, and other chronic illnesses. 

   
• Referral to Specialists:

  Referring patients to specialists when necessary for specialized care. 

   
• Health Education and Counseling:

  Educating patients about healthy lifestyles, disease prevention, and medical treatments. 

   
• Coordinating Care:

  Collaborating with other healthcare providers to ensure coordinated and quality patient care. 

   
• Patient Communication:

  Communicating effectively with patients and their families to build trust and ensure patient understanding of their care plan. 

   
• Documentation:

  Maintaining detailed and accurate patient records. 

   
• Continuing Medical Education:

  Staying up-to-date on medical advancements and best practices to provide the best possible care. 

• Medical Degree (MD or DO): Completion of an accredited medical school program. 
   
• Residency Program: Completion of a residency in family medicine, internal medicine, or pediatrics. 
   
• Board Certification: Certification or eligibility for certification in a primary care specialty (family medicine, internal medicine, or pediatrics). 
   
• Medical License: A valid medical license to practice in the relevant state.
