Rheumatology – Scleroderma Director - Coastal Charleston, SC

Join a team that’s Changing What’s Possible – The Medical University of South Carolina’s Division of Rheumatology and Immunology is actively recruiting for a Scleroderma Director.

We are seeking candidates with:

  • D./Ph.D. to lead Systemic Sclerosis Disease Center within the Rheumatology division
  • Lead outreach efforts to improve outcomes in at risk patients with interstitial lung disease
  • Coordinate interdisciplinary conferences and case boards related to interstitial lung disease
  • Mentor junior physicians and physician scientist faculty and fellows
  • Incumbent will provide a minimal amount of inpatient and outpatient services with a focus on systemic sclerosis and interstitial lung disease within adult Rheumatology as well as participate in bedside and didactic teaching activities
