Chief Child and Adolescent Psychiatrist needed - SE Michigan

Pine Rest provides psychiatry services to state hospitals in Michigan. Walter P. Reuther Psychiatric Hospital (WRPH) - Pediatrics, currently located at 30901 Palmer Road in Westland, is an in-patient psychiatric hospital that provides intensive psychiatric services to children and adolescents. A new hospital is under construction in Northville and is anticipated to open in January 2027.

Pine Rest is searching for a Chief Child and Adolescent Psychiatrist to provide clinical care and administrative leadership to a team of Pine Rest employed psychiatrists and other treatment team members.

This is a new role that will begin with 50% administrative time and 50% clinical time. As the child and adolescent psychiatry staff expands, the amount of administrative time may expand, and clinical time may be reduced. This position requires a minimum of 2 years’ experience.

 

This is a training site for residents and fellows from Wayne State, Trinity Health St. Mary’s and Corewell.
