The U.S. Navy offers a rare opportunity for a board-certified or board-eligible Preventive Medicine Physician to join as a Medical Corps Officer. In this active-duty role, you’ll provide care for service members and their families in both outpatient settings, without the burden of production quotas or insurance billing. Position Highlights

Schedule: Less than 36 hrs max a week.
Locations: Nationwide locations with optional overseas assignments
Setting: In-person only (no remote or telemedicine)
No prior military service required – full training provided

Primary Responsibilities

  • Deliver preventive and occupational health care in outpatient environments.
  • Promote health and readiness among military populations
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams on public health initiatives, deployment health, disease prevention, and wellness promotion

Compensation & Financial Benefits

  • Annual Salary: $234,000–$263,000
  • Sign-On Bonus: $300,000

  • Specialty Incentive Pay: Up to $59,000 annually
