The Division of Infectious Disease at Banner University Medical Group in Tucson, Arizona is seeking a highly motivated and compassionate Infectious Disease Physician to join our growing Infectious Diseases Division. This position includes a component of transplant infectious diseases, with opportunities to care for immunocompromised patients, including solid organ and hematopoietic stem cell transplant recipients. The ideal candidate will have a strong commitment to clinical excellence, collaboration, and academic contribution.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide inpatient and outpatient consultative services in transplant infectious diseases
Participate in multidisciplinary transplant care team meetings
Engage in clinical education of medical students, residents, and fellows
Collaborate in ongoing research and quality improvement initiatives
Participate in transplant-related infection prevention protocols and antimicrobial stewardship efforts
