Intensivist– Northwest Indiana - Less than 1 hour from Chicago!

Northwest Health – Porter & La Porte has an opportunity for an experienced intensivist to partner with us to transform the network critical care service.  Closed ICUs at each campus, staffed with hospital employed physicians.  Network consists of 2 acute care hospitals 20 miles apart.  Northwest Health Porter:  32 ICU beds; Northwest Health-La Porte: 14 ICU beds.  Ideal candidate will have strong clinical skills with leadership experience.

DETAILS OF POSITION:

• NWH - Porter:  Full service community hospital, including Interventional Cardiology, EP  & CT surgery, Neurosurgery, Pulmonology, General Surgery, Interventional Radiology
• NWH - La Porte: 85 bed new facility, including  Interventional Cardiology & EP, Thoracic Surgery, Neurosurgery, Pulmonology, General Surgery, Interventional Radiology
• All equipment needed for bedside procedures, including bedside ultrasound and difficult airway equipment
• Hospitalist service for general inpatient units
• Experienced nursing staff
• Engaged medical staff with progressive medical staff leadership
