Looking for a meaningful, fully remote opportunity from the comfort of your home? Iris Telehealth is hiring a psychiatrist either licensed in Texas or with an active IMLC LOQ to provide essential care to underserved communities through 100% remote work, ensuring a healthy work-life balance.
This role will provide telepsychiatry services to adult and geriatric patients as part of a collaborative team. This health system has a ton of great wrap-around resources for patients including IOP, IP, Neurologists, Psychiatrists, Psychologists, therapists, case managers, and staff support to assist with prior authorizations, prescription request, coordination of care, and parent outreach.
About the Role:
Schedule: 8am– 5pm EST Monday – Friday CST, with 60 minutes of daily administrative time.
Appointment Times: 60 minutes for initial visits, 30 minutes for follow-ups.
Patient Population: Ages 13+ (primarily adults 18-65 with 10% adolescent)
Caseload: 12-16 patients per day, with 2 intakes daily
Supervision: Supervision of Iris Telehealth PMHNPs - our NPs are highly skilled and have at least 5 years of prescribing experience!
No on-call required!

Qualifications:
Completion of a 4-year ACGME Residency Program in Psychiatry.
Active medical license in Texas or an IMLC Letter of Qualification required.
Availability for 40 hours per week, with the ability to work during CST hours.
Open to supervising Iris Telehealth Nurse Practitioners.
Experience working in a collaborative environment with PCPs .
Live in the U.S. or a U.S. territory
