Hematology/Oncology Physician Needed in Mid Michigan

Position Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated Hematology/Oncology Physician to join our team. This role involves providing comprehensive cancer care across multiple locations, including:

  • Aspire Hills & Dales Infusion and Oncology Center (Marlette): 2 days per week
  • Covenant Cancer Care Center (Saginaw) or Scheurer Health (Pigeon): 1-2 days per week

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver patient-centered care in both outpatient and inpatient settings.
  • Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, including medical oncologists, radiation oncologists, surgeons, and advanced practice providers.
  • Participate in tumor boards and contribute to ongoing research initiatives.
  • Engage in community outreach to enhance cancer care accessibility in the region.

State-of-the-Art Regional Facilities:

  • Aspire Hills & Dales Infusion and Oncology Center (Marlette):
    • Newly installed Elekta Versa HD Linear Accelerator for advanced radiation therapy
    • State-of-the-art CT scanner for precision imaging
    • On-site pharmacy for convenient access to medications
    • Eight infusion/chemotherapy bays designed for patient comfort
    • Low-dose CT lung cancer screenings and 3D mammography across all Aspire locations
    • PET scan services at the Marlette campus
  • Scheurer Health Cancer Care Services (Pigeon):
    • Comprehensive chemotherapy and outpatient IV therapy services
    • Injections, implanted port care, and PICC line services
    • On-site nuclear medicine technology for advanced diagnostics
    • Blood draws and lab support for streamlined patient care

Qualifications:

  • Board-certified or board-eligible in Hematology and Oncology.
  • Eligible for medical licensure in the state of Michigan.
  • Commitment to providing high-quality, compassionate care to a diverse patient population.
  • Willingness to travel between Saginaw, Marlette, and Pigeon as required.
