This team has established multiple clinical programs for the management of patients with various types of HF, pulmonary arterial hypertension, cardiac amyloidosis, cardio-oncology, muscular dystrophy. The HFCC also works collaboratively with the heart transplantation centers in the region to identify and evaluate patients who may be candidates for advanced HF therapy, and to comanage patients after receiving left ventricular assist devices through the Shared Care LVAD program. The HFCC is an active participant in several multicenter randomized clinical trials. HFCC has been the recipient of multiple get-with-the-guidelines (GWTG) Gold-plus certification for implementing guideline-directed medical therapy for patients with HF.

Candidates must have completed post graduate training in both cardiology and heart failure, with preferred interest in cardio-obstetrics to meet a growing need in our patient population.
