  • Patient Admissions: Collaborate with the UMMMC patient acquisition team for new patient referrals and perform “admission tuck-in” video visits focusing on care planning and medication reconciliation.

  • Supervision & Collaboration: Supervise and mentor residents and APPs, and work closely with nursing, paramedic, and APP teams to provide coordinated care.

  • Clinical Flexibility: After initial training, work remotely in a HIPAA-compliant space with occasional in-person duties at the Worcester-based command center for meetings and educational events.

  • Program Improvement & Participation: Contribute to continuous care process improvements and actively participate in regularly scheduled team meetings.

  • Weekend & Holiday Coverage: Participate in clinical coverage for weekends (two per month) and holidays (two major and one minor per year).

  • Additional Clinical Role: Opportunity to work as both a Virtual Home Hospitalist and a Brick-and-Mortar Hospitalist if service needs align.
