About this role:

As a Cardiology Physician you will work with a team of healthcare professionals committed to providing quality care and excellent patient experience.  In this role you will provide patient care at our Alta clinic where you will work to build a relationship within the community.  

• This position includes a $30,000.00 sign-on bonus up to $20,000.00 relocation allowance, and quality incentive bonus.
• You will practice at Summerlin (Alta) Cardiology Clinic  
• Services provided on site, Echocardiography and vascular ultrasound, nuclear imaging, device clinic, physical examinations, diagnosis and care plans
• Monday- Friday from 7:30 am – 5 pm is the work schedule.
• Daily patient consensus is 20 with an age range of 65 years and older
• You would join an established cardiology team, APPs and MAs nurses, imaging and device technicians
• Work-life balance through reasonable call, weekend, and rounding schedule
• Weeknight overnight hospital calls are 1:14-15 days on average, weekend calls are 1:5-6 weeks, on average and there are additional coverage opportunities.
• During hospital rounding there is an opportunity to supervise advanced practice providers employed by Intermountain Health.

What you’ll bring:

• MD or DO degree from a fully accredited medical or osteopathic school of medicine
• Residency training in Internal Medicine and Cardiology
• Board certification or eligibility in General Cardiology
• Active, unobstructed Nevada medical license, or the ability to obtain one
• Ability to successfully complete Intermountain Health’s credentialing process
• We are not able to accept candidates requiring Visa sponsorship at this time
