The Division of Gastroenterology and Hepatology, Rutgers Robert Wood Johnson Medical School seeks to employ a Hepatologist at an open rank.

This position offers a dynamic opportunity to provide high-quality patient care, engage in academic and scholarly activities, and contribute to the advancement of hepatology and gastroenterology services and treatments at Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital at New Brunswick. The faculty member will work directly with patients to best understand their needs in order to test, diagnose and treat patients as required, as well as work with patients’ primary physicians and other relevant physicians to arrive at a workable medical strategy for their concerns. Some duties may include comprehensive inpatient/outpatient care for patients with liver-related disorders and general gastroenterology conditions, participate in providing endoscopic procedures, educate and mentor medical students, residents, and fellows, and other duties as assigned.
