Outpatient Child/Adolescent Psychiatrist in Fort Collins, CO

UCHealth is seeking a compassionate and highly qualified board-certified or board-eligible full-time Outpatient Child/Adolescent Psychiatrist to provide care in Fort Collins, CO at our Mountain Crest Behavioral Health Center. The ideal candidate will share their time between our outpatient and interventional psychiatric clinics. Our new interventional psychiatric clinic provides TMS, ECT, and Esketamine as components of comprehensive and holistic patient care. Become part of our growing program, encompassing a full range of behavioral health services within our physician-led multi-specialty group.

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive psychiatric evaluations and assessments for pediatric and adolescent patients.
  • Exhibit compassion and dedication to identifying and treating psychiatric, neuropsychiatric, personality, and substance use disorders.
  • Provide evidence-based psychiatric care, including medication management, psychotherapy, and crisis intervention.
  • Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of therapists, nurses, and social workers to ensure comprehensive patient care.
  • Monitor patients' progress, assess treatment effectiveness, and make necessary adjustments to treatment plans.
  • Actively engage in multidisciplinary team meetings, case conferences, and treatment planning sessions.
  • Stay informed about the latest research, advancements, and best practices in psychiatry.

Our competitive compensation package includes:

  • Salary range is based on the FTE percentage: .81-1.0
  • 0 FTE is a $300,000 annual base salary.
  • Generous signing bonus
  • Additional days off and allowance for CME
  • If applicable, a quality and productivity bonus may be offered.
