Join IES, an independent physician-owned group, at St. Luke's Brazosport Medical Center. Hiring one Full Time BC/BE Emergency Medicine physician for our two-year Emergency Medicine Administrative Fellowship program.  This structured two-year program offers an additional stipend of $2,000 per month for 30 administrative hours per month of training and 90 clinical hours at $245/hr with a comprehensive benefits package on your first shift. The fellowship is an immersive program that provides hands-on training with hospital and emergency department leaders, as well as formal classroom learning.  Learn more about this unique opportunity to provide you with the skills to lead a team in the Emergency Department while still practicing medicine. 

EMERGENCY ROOM

• Shifts: 11 hours weekdays; 12 hours weekends
• Openings: 2 Full-time positions
• ED Beds: 20
• Fast Track Beds: 5
• Annual Visits: 28,000
• Patients Per Hour: 1.8
• Admit Rate: 15% - Hospitalists handle admissions
• Physician Coverage: 33 hours weekday; 24 hours weekend
• APP Coverage: 22-24 hours daily
• POCUS: Sono site
• EMR: MedHost
• Hospital Beds: 154
• Qualification: BC/BE ABEM or ABOEM
• Compensation: Annual Pay $288,600(90 Clinical Hours per month at $245/hr & $2,000 monthly stipend for 30 hours administrative fellowship time). Additional clinical hours at the clinical rate of $245/hr are available.
