Teaching Hospitalist Physician

The Hospital of Central Connecticut (HOCC), part of the Hartford HealthCare system, is a 446-bed community teaching hospital located in New Britain, CT. We are seeking a dedicated Hospitalist to join our team, providing high-quality inpatient care as a rounding and admitting physician for the Attending Medical Staff.

In this role, you will:

• Manage the clinical care of hospitalized patients, ensuring seamless communication and collaboration.

• Oversee inpatient medical care with a strong commitment to quality and efficiency.

• Engage in select administrative responsibilities, including committee work, quality improvement initiatives, and teaching opportunities for staff and the community.

Qualifications

Physician Board Certified /Board Eligible in Internal Medicine with experience in managing acutely ill adult patients with a variety of chronic illnesses.
