Trauma Surgeons Needed at Level 2 Trauma Center in Southeast Louisiana

North Oaks Health System is seeking a full-time Board-Eligible or Board-Certified TRAUMA SURGEON to join its hospital-employed trauma team in Hammond, Louisiana.

• North Oaks has earned official verification from the American College of Surgeons and designation from the Louisiana Department of Health as a LEVEL 2 TRAUMA CENTER, one of only 5 trauma centers in the state. 
• North Oaks Medical Center’s Emergency Department is the 2nd-3rd busiest ED in Louisiana!
• Operating as a not-for-profit Hospital Service District, all excess revenues are reinvested to expand the services North Oaks offers; additionally, as we are in a Health Professional Shortage Area (HPSA), our physicians may be eligible for Public Service Loan Forgiveness.
