Chief of Radiology Services - AdventHealth West Florida Division

AdventHealth Medical Group West Florida is looking for a dynamic fellowship-trained radiologist with leadership experience to serve as Chief of Radiology Services and lead our team at West Florida Division AdventHealth hospitals and outpatient imaging centers. All imaging centers are accredited by the American College of Radiology (ACR) for imaging excellence.

Ideal candidate will provide leadership and direction in all areas allowing us to continue our mission, " to extend the healing ministry of Christ". The Chief will focus on improving, developing and implementing clinical service and clinical quality in a compassionate manner. Position is 70% administrative/30% clinical.

Hospital Duties:

• Assist with the creation and implementation of clinical care standards at Hospital and Hospital facilities and serve on appropriate task forces as may be requested.
• Consult with Hospital leadership regarding consensus and relationship building within Hospital’s Medical Staff.
• Advise on the development of clinical research strategy for radiology including serving as a key advisor on defining and establishing relationship with any research facilities.
• Provide guidance in defining, measuring and obtaining success relative to Hospital’s five (5) performance elements: Service, Team, Market, Clinical and Financial.
• Monitor turn-around time of radiologist reports to agreed upon goal

Medical Group Duties:

• Oversee the development and implementation of a growth strategy for the Medical Group’s radiology practice.
• Responsible, in concert with Physician Recruitment, for physician recruitment efforts, involving the screening and interviewing of radiology candidates
• Oversee activities of all the Medical Group’s radiology practice committees and provide overall direction to committee chairpersons.
• Appoint campus medical directors in consultation with campus leadership.
• Monitor activities of campus medical directors and participate in campus committees and meetings as appropriate

Requirements:

• ACGME accredited radiology residency and Fellowship
• Board Certified with the American Board of Radiology (ABR)
• 5 years of leadership experience
• Desire to work with clinical research and resident education
