Neonatologist for Level 2 NICU at AdventHealth Ocala

Overview

We are looking for a dynamic, innovative, and energetic neonatologist as we expand our group at the Level 2 NICU at AdventHealth Ocala, located just an hour and 20 minutes northwest of Orlando. 

• This program is built for two full time neonatologists with 24/7 in-house NNP support 
• 12 bed Level 2 NICU and Newborn Nursery service 
• Approximately 2,500 deliveries per year 
• Supported by the quaternary care NICU at AdventHealth for Children, with a seamless transport process for infants that need a higher level of care.

You would be part of a larger group of neonatologists that are part of AdventHealth for Children Orlando, formerly Florida Hospital for Children. Our regional network includes a delivery volume of approximately 15,000 births per year. We have a dedicated Neonatal transport team and are supported by experienced Pediatric Subspecialists.

Requirements:

The new physician joining the group should be board certified in pediatrics and board certified/eligible through the Sub-Board of Neonatal-Perinatal Medicine.

Practice Description

This is an employment opportunity through AdventHealth Medical Group, a 900+ physician, multi-specialty organization. AHMG is a sister organization of AdventHealth, formerly Adventist Health System.
