Trauma/Critical Care and Acute Care Surgeon
Mercy Health St. Elizabeth Youngstown Hospital is seeking a board certified/eligible General Surgeon with added qualifications in Surgical Critical Care for our Level 1 Trauma Center. Ours is the only Level I Trauma Center between Pittsburgh, Cleveland, and Akron.
The opportunity is to join a group of 5 Trauma/Critical Care trained surgeons with support provided by Advanced Practice Providers. We also have an accredited general surgery residency program. In-house calls average 5-6 per month.
This position offers an opportunity for an elective general surgery practice. There is also the ability to participate in trauma research that is supported by a dedicated trauma research staff.
