PRN Radiation Oncology Opportunity – Orangeburg, South Carolina (W2 or 1099)

The Department of Radiation Oncology at the Medical University of South Carolina (MUSC) is seeking a skilled, BC/BE Radiation Oncologist to work PRN at their hospital in Orangeburg, SC. This community-based practice uses a streamlined, multidisciplinary approach to provide high quality, compassionate care to patients in Orangeburg and the surrounding communities. The candidate chosen for this role will be connected to MUSC’s Department of Radiation Oncology in Charleston via an affiliate faculty appointment, and will receive access to the division’s resources, as well as clinical support from the team at MUSC’s Hollings Cancer Center in Charleston, SC. About our opportunity:

• Candidates must be BC/BE in Radiation Oncology
• One location – Mabry Cancer Center, located on the Hospital Campus
• 30 patients per day
• No emergent call
• On-site Lab and Pharmacy
• 2 Radiation Nurses, 3 Radiation Therapists, 1 Physicist and 1 Dosimetrist
• Well-established, collaborative team
• Equipment includes Varian Trilogy™, Eclipse software, ARIA^® oncology information system, and CT Simulator with 4DCT capability.
• Community-based practice serving a unique patient population
• Providers can live outside the greater Orangeburg area and commute to work
