The Medical University of South Carolina (MUSC) Department of Medicine, Division of General Internal Medicine, Geriatrics, & Palliative Care is seeking a Geriatrician to join their growing department. The geriatric faculty will serve a unique role by participating in the academic activities of the department while providing comprehensive geriatric care. The ideal candidate will be a patient-centered, compassionate team player with the desire to support the growth of the next generation of healthcare professionals.
The section of Geriatrics has 3 faculty members and an advanced practice provider, within both outpatient and inpatient clinical practices, along with an ACGME – approved Geriatrics Fellowship that accepts 2 fellows per year. The division is committed to meeting the healthcare needs of the rapidly growing geriatric population of the Charleston tri-county area, and to enhancing the mission of the University in the domains of patient care, education, research, & healthcare leadership development.
