Baylor Scott & White Health is seeking a dedicated, Board-Certified (or Board-Eligible) Family Medicine Physician to join our San Saba clinic. About the Role
As a Family Medicine Physician at our San Saba clinic, you will:
- Deliver comprehensive, patient-centered care for individuals of all ages.
- Manage chronic and acute conditions, preventive care, and health education.
- Work alongside experienced Advanced Practice Providers (APPs) who have been instrumental in delivering care to the community.
- Serve a diverse patient population, including migrant and farm workers, families, and individuals with limited access to specialists.
- Coordinate care with regional specialists, with the nearest facilities being 1-2 hours away.
- Engage in community outreach and mentorship opportunities.
This position requires a physician who is passionate about rural medicine and dedicated to becoming an integral part of the community.

Key Responsibilities
- Provide full-spectrum family medicine services, from pediatrics to geriatrics.
- Supervise and collaborate with experienced NPs who manage a significant portion of patient care.
- Navigate rural healthcare challenges, including specialist access and transportation limitations.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives and community health programs.

Qualifications
- Doctorate in Medicine (MD or DO)
- Licensed to practice in Texas by the Texas Medical Board
- Board-certified or actively pursuing certification in Family Medicine (ABMS or BOS)
- Spanish-speaking skills preferred but not required
- Strong commitment to rural medicine and community engagement
