Orthopedic Surgery Locum Opportunity – Indiana

Job Description:

Seeking an experienced Orthopedic Surgeon to provide locum coverage for inpatient rounding, ER call coverage, and performing procedures.

Cases involve musculoskeletal conditions, injuries, and post-op follow-ups. Complex traumas are transferred to higher-level facilities.

Required Procedures:

• Arthroscopy
• Total Joint Replacement (Hip, Knee, Shoulder)
• Joint Repair (Hip, Knee, Shoulder)
• Tendon Repair
• Peripheral Nerve Surgery

Hand Injuries:
Providers may receive ED calls for hand injuries and should assess whether specialized intervention is needed.

Candidate Requirements:

• Active IN State License or IMLC
• Board Certified or Board Eligible (Minimum 2 years of experience)
• Certifications: ACLS & BLS (AHA issued)
• Flu & COVID Vaccination (or approved exemption)
• Must enter hours in Vemsta platform

• July 31 (5 PM) – Aug 4 (7 AM)
• Aug 7 (5 PM) – Aug 11 (7 AM)
