ER Medical Directorship - Low Volume - Harrisburg, IL

Position Overview:

• Location: Harrisburg, IL
• Facility: 71-bed hospital with an 11-bed Emergency Department (ED)
• Patient Volume: 26 patients per 24-hour period (average)
• Shifts: 12-hour and 24-hour shifts available
• EMR: Epic EMR with M Modal Dictation for ease of documentation
• Compensation: Competitive pay
• 1099 for clinical hours

Responsibilities:

• Oversee the daily operations of the Emergency Department
• Lead and collaborate with a team of dedicated clinicians
• Ensure high-quality, patient-centered care is delivered consistently
• Provide clinical leadership and support to ED staff
• Manage departmental budgets, staffing, and performance metrics

Qualifications:

• Board-certified in Emergency Medicine
• Proven leadership experience, with previous Medical Director experience preferred
• Excellent communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills
