Part or Full Time Utilization Review - Remote Work as an Independent Contractor (1099)

Flexible Independent Contractor (1099) Opportunity – Work 10 to 40 Hours Per Week!

We are seeking experienced physicians to review Prior Authorizations for treatments, DME requests, SNF admissions, medications, and more. Our reviewers apply nationally accepted medical and healthcare plan guidelines to provide expert, unbiased assessments while ensuring compliance with ERISA/DOL and state regulations.

• Work 10 to 40 hours per week with a flexible schedule. Note: We seek candidates available 5 days per week (flexible hours, including weekends). Sporadic availability (1-2 days per week) does not align with our needs.

Additional Information:

• Covered under MRIoA’s Errors and Omissions policy (traditional Malpractice Insurance is not applicable).
• Work remotely from anywhere in the U.S. (patient records cannot leave the U.S.).
• Non-employed Independent Contractor (1099) opportunity.

Compensation:

• Paid per case, with rates varying based on complexity.
• Proficient reviewers typically earn in excess of $100+ per hour.

Requirements:

• Strong computer skills.
• Ability and willingness to conduct Peer-to-Peer calls during business hours.
• Must utilize healthcare plan criteria in decision-making when required.
• Board Certification in Family Medicine or Internal Medicine.
• Active, unrestricted medical license.
