Obstetrics Physician/Assistant Medical Director   

The Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology at Stamford Health, in partnership with Oula Health, is excited to offer a new leadership opportunity for a board-certified, experienced obstetrician. Together, Stamford Health and Oula Health are expanding high-quality maternity care services in Fairfield County, starting with a practice location in Norwalk, with additional locations to follow.

We are seeking a passionate and experienced OB/GYN physician to serve as Assistant Medical Director and help build and lead a collaborative practice of midwives and OB/GYNs. This full-time position includes direct patient care, administrative leadership, and educational responsibilities.

Position Highlights:

• Inpatient and outpatient medical management
• Offices in Norwalk and Stamford
• Collaborative and supportive team environment
• Monday – Friday schedule, 8 AM to 5 PM
• Rotation on-call required
• EPIC EMR system

Requirements:

• Graduation from an ACGME-accredited OB/GYN residency training program
• Board certification in Obstetrics and Gynecology
• Minimum of three years of experience leading a team of midwives
• Previous leadership experience required
• Valid Connecticut Medical License or eligibility to obtain one
