Providence Hood River Family Medicine Residency Rural Training Program is seeking a passionate educator and leadership-oriented board-certified Family Medicine physician to act as program director. Join a dynamic group of dedicated faculty members, which offers robust cross-specialty peer collaboration and business infrastructure and provide meaningful service in our beautiful Hood River community. In this role you will be lead a family medicine residency program consistent with the needs of the community, the mission of the Sponsoring Institution, the mission of the program, and the accreditation requirements of the Accreditation Council for Graduate Medical Education (ACGME). Perform duties in a way that maintains a positive and innovative learning environment conducive to educating the residents in each of the ACGME Competency domains.

Providence Hood River Memorial Hospital, with 25 beds and more than 70 providers, serves five counties in the Columbia River Gorge. With an inpatient satisfaction rating in the 95th percentile, it’s no surprise Providence Hood River has received numerous awards, including Top 100 Critical Access Hospital in America from The National Rural Health Association.
