The Opportunity

  • Expanding Cardiac EP Program: The Lewis Katz School of Medicine at Temple University (LKSOM) seeks candidates for its growing Cardiac Electrophysiology program, offering a broad scope of clinical services, including complex ablations and device implantation.
  • Regional Referral Network & Consults: The role includes developing a regional EP referral network, outpatient practice within the EP clinical group, and inpatient consultative rounds at Temple-Main and Temple-Jeanes campuses.
  • Supportive Practice Environment: Temple’s Cardiology Section fosters quality patient care, research, teaching, career development, and collegiality among faculty members.
  • Advanced Technology & Expertise: Temple has one of Pennsylvania’s largest EP facilities, using cutting-edge diagnostics (3D mapping, intracardiac echocardiography, wireless monitoring) and therapies for complex arrhythmias.
  • Innovative Research & Collaboration: Temple’s electrophysiologists engage in multi-center clinical trials, explore new treatment options, and collaborate with cardiovascular surgeons on advanced procedures like MAZE for complex arrhythmias.

Candidate Qualifications

Qualified candidates must be ABIM certified in IM, cardiology, fellowship trained in cardiac electrophysiology from an ACGME accredited program and in possession of or eligible to receive an unrestricted PA State Medical License.  Rank and compensation commensurate with experience.
