Job Description

Palliative Care

Midland Health is seeking a Board-Certified/Eligible Palliative Care Physician passionate to help develop and grow a young program of serious illness. Midland Inpatient Medical Associates (MIMA) is currently serving the Permian Basin and its surrounding communities at Midland Memorial Hospital, with catchment area boasting 450,00 people.

Qualifications:

  • BE/BC
  • Possess an unrestricted Texas Medical License or be eligible to be licensed in the state of Texas.
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Ability to communicate with various departments
  • Collaborate with physicians of other specialties within the community and provide on-call services as scheduled by the Group for patients of such other physicians
  • Partner with various providers to improve primary palliative care by educating providers in skilled, evidenced -based and compassionate management as well as communication about serious illness
