Role Overview

The Chair will:

• Serve as a liaison between dental staff and administration, fostering collaboration and engagement
• Lead strategic planning and business growth for the department
• Oversee residency curriculum and ensure compliance with CODA accreditation
• Support faculty development and enhance resident training and mentorship
• Manage talent recruitment, staff performance, and professional development
• Champion cutting-edge dental technologies and facility improvements

Qualifications

• DDS/DMD from an accredited dental program
• Completion of an accredited GPR program
• Active New Jersey State license and DEA
• Minimum 10 years of clinical experience, with at least 5 years in leadership, education, or academia
• Demonstrated experience in dental residency education and program management
• Knowledge of CODA accreditation standards and compliance
• Strong leadership, organizational, and communication skills
