Job Posting: Full-Time OB/GYN Physician

Location: Mercyhealth West Clinic, 1000 Mineral Point Ave., Janesville, WI

Position Type: Full-Time, Four Days per Week (One Surgery Day)

Position Overview:

Mercyhealth is seeking a dedicated OB/GYN physician to join our Janesville team,. This role provides an excellent opportunity to work within our multi-regional, award-winning health system.

• Fulltime, full scope OB/GYN. 
• Four-day work week with a dedicated surgery day.
• Minimal night call due to nocturnist coverage from 7p-7a most weeks.
• DaVinci Robot available but not required

Practice Environment:

• Office Setup: Each physician has three exam rooms, with access to two shared procedure rooms and two shared NST rooms.
• Average Daily Patient Volume: 18-20 outpatients, inpatient numbers vary daily.
• Support Staff: Includes a dedicated nurse and medical assistant.
• Patient Population and Payer Mix: Diverse patient population, including Medicaid, Medicare, and commercial insurance.

Qualifications:

• Required Degree: MD or DO
• Years of Experience: Open to new graduates

Key Responsibilities:

• Outpatient Clinic
• Labor & Delivery (L&D)

• Call Coverage: Varies from 24 hours, every 6^th day to 7am- 7 pm day coverage when hospitalist positions are filled. (Once the OB night hospitalist positions are full, call coverage will only consist of day coverage)

• Response Time Requirement: 20 minutes, as directed by medical staff bylaws and call guidelines.
