Job Description

Baylor Scott & White Health is seeking a BC/BE Family Medicine Physician, with interest in Academic Medicine, to join an established Primary Care program in Temple, TX with appointment as Core Faculty at Baylor College of Medicine, Temple Campus.

Position Information:

  • Schedule: Fulltime, Monday – Friday, Days, 1.0 fte.
    • Residency Core Faculty, Academic Medicine (0.6 fte) at Baylor College of Medicine, Temple Campus.
    • Outpatient Clinic (0.40 fte) at BSWH Family Medicine Clinic, Santa Fe, Temple, Texas. 
  • Inpatient Rotation: 6 weeks per year at BSW Temple Memorial Hospital.
  • Responsibilities: Educate and Supervise Residents, Provide Direct Patient Care in the Family Medicine Outpatient Clinic, and Assist in Developing, Directing, and Managing the Family Medicine Residency Program to advance the field of family medicine.

Qualifications:

  • Doctorate Degree in Medicine
  • Licensed to Practice Medicine in the state of Texas by the Texas Medical Board
  • Where Applicable- Employee shall be currently board certified in his or her specialty or demonstrate active pursuit of board certification as defined by the appropriate specialty board of the American Board of Medical Specialties or the Bureau of Osteopathic Specialists.
