Job Description

Indiana University Health is seeking a dedicated and skilled Otolaryngologist to join our dynamic team.  The successful candidate will provide comprehensive care to patients with a wide range of ear, nose, throat, head and neck conditions. This role offers an excellent opportunity to work in a collaborative environment, contribute to innovative patient care, and participate in educational and research activities.  The ideal candidate will be passionate and providing high-quality, patient-centered care in both inpatient and outpatient settings. 

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide education, diagnosis, and treatment for a wide variety of Otolaryngologic conditions, including disorders of the ear, nose, throat, head and neck. 
  • Perform clinical procedures, including diagnostic tests, minor surgeries, and major surgical interventions as required.
  • Collaborate with other medical professionals, including primary care physicians, specialists, and surgical teams, to deliver coordinated and comprehensive care.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records, including medical history, diagnoses, and treatment plans.
  • Engage in patient education and counseling, providing information on treatment options, recovery and ongoing care. 
  • Supervise and mentor residents and medical students, fostering a collaborative and educational environment.

Requirements

  • MD or DO
  • Board Certified / Board Eligible 
  • Indiana medical license 
  • Strong clinical skills 
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skils
