Practice Highlights:
- Call shared amongst group
- Autonomous PA's who assist in the OR, perform vein harvesting, facilitate rounds, and see patients in post-op clinic
- Clinic space is located in the SEH Cardiovascular Institute, a multidisciplinary clinic that is shared with Interventional/EP Cardiology and Vascular Surgery. Located on Southeast Health's campus for easy access to the OR, hospital, etc.
- Scope of practice includes all aspects of cardiac and thoracic surgery: CABG, minimally invasive lung and valve surgery, and comprehensive structural heart (including TAVR, MitraClip, etc.)
- 22 OR's with endovascular and open heart suites - daVinci robotic surgical system is available
- Exceptional referral base with strong Cardiology and Primary Care sources
