IBD Gastroenterologist – Clinical Faculty Opportunity

The Division of Gastroenterology at the University of Missouri School of Medicine is seeking a board-certified or board-eligible gastroenterologist with advanced training or a strong interest in Inflammatory Bowel Disease (IBD) to join our growing team. This faculty position offers a unique opportunity to deliver expert clinical care, teach the next generation of gastroenterologists, and shape the future of IBD services in mid-Missouri.

About the Opportunity

The selected candidate will serve as the division’s IBD specialist, managing complex Crohn’s disease, ulcerative colitis, and other inflammatory bowel conditions. You will play a key role as a clinician-educator, contributing to the training of fellows, residents, and medical students through bedside teaching, didactic sessions, and mentorship.

Minimum Qualifications

  • MD/DO degree

  • Completion of ACGME-accredited Gastroenterology Fellowship

  • IBD Fellowship or demonstrated clinical interest and experience in IBD

  • Board-certified or board-eligible in Internal Medicine and Gastroenterology

  • All Ranks available; rank will be commensurate with experience
  • Eligibility for Missouri medical licensure.
