This is a unique opportunity to be a part of a dynamic, quickly growing Thoracic and Vascular Surgery Group who are doing remarkable things! Based out of North Colorado Medical Center, this position will help support expansion and growing market shares in Northern Colorado and surrounding states.

Our Thoracic and Vascular Surgery Clinic is an integral part of the Cardiovascular Institute of North Colorado: a comprehensive, state-of-the-art heart hospital located within North Colorado Medical Center in Greeley. Dedicated to cardiovascular diagnosis, intervention, and wellness, our 175,000 square foot Institute combines the most innovative ideas in cardiovascular care and houses them in one location. The Institute offers everything from the most advanced diagnostic imaging in Northern Colorado to leading edge open-heart surgery to an accredited cardiac rehabilitation program. 

As a CT Surgeon with Banner Health, you will collaborate with and be supported by an experienced and highly skilled multidisciplinary team that consists of specialized physicians in various cardiovascular fields, including Thoracic Surgery, Vascular Surgery, Electrophysiology, Coronary and Peripheral, Vascular Intervention, Structural Heart, Cardiovascular Imaging, General Cardiology, and Vascular Medicine.

Requirements:

·        Completion of a Cardiothoracic Surgery Fellowship

·        Board Certified by the American Board of Thoracic Surgery (ABTS)

·        Minimum of 5 years’ experience

·        Eligible for unrestricted medical licensure in the State of Colorado

·        Ability to obtain and /or maintain DEA certification for the State of Colorado.

·        Meet all qualifications for Credentialing and Privileges

Practice Details:

·        Full-time

·        Schedule: 7 on 7 off

·        Clinic: 2 days per week | OR: 3 days per week

·        APP support (3 Physician Assistants)

·        Dedicated support staff

·        15 state-of-the-art OR rooms

·        Base Salary: $1,015,000

Qualifications:

·        Expertise in complex valve repair and replacement, aortic procedures (including complex aneurysms and dissections), coronary artery bypass grafting, and a variety of general thoracic procedures.

·        Experience with minimally invasive cardiac, robotic thoracic operations

·        Demonstrated ability to collaborate and communicate effectively within an interdisciplinary team and with referring physicians.

·        Dedication to providing quality evidence-based patient care.

·        Exceptional verbal and written communication skills with a proven ability to foster a positive and productive environment.
