Seeking Medical Director to lead Growing Level III NICU in Fredericksburg, VA! Flexible week on/week off schedule with call from home! Start date and relocation bonuses, totaling $50K!

Envision Physician Services is seeking a board eligible or board-certified Neonatologist to lead the Level III NICU at Spotsylvania Regional Medical Center (SRMC). We are building a team that will support this community hospital’s goal of keeping baby and family together as well as close to home. SRMC’s NICU has 8-beds. Their top three strategic initiatives are to incrementally increase NICU volumes, acuity, and promote breastfeeding after delivery with outpatient lactation support. The top-quality initiatives that the hospital will be focusing on are obtaining Baby Friendly status and having zero percent mortality and CLABSI rates.

Opportunity Details:

• Staffing Model: 2 Neonatologists, 3 NNPs
• Coverage includes:
  • Collaborative care of the newborn nursery and Level III NICU patients with the NNP during the night (16-hour shifts)
  • NNP in-house at night with Neo on call
  • Attendance at deliveries
  • Education of RN/RTs as volume/acuity goes up
• Schedule:
• Week on/off
• Call from home

Reporting Structure: The Medical Director will report directly to the Regional Medical Director.
