Remote Psychiatrist for OnDemand Consultations | IL and FL

Overview:

We are seeking a skilled psychiatrist to conduct OnDemand consultations for the Emergency Department and Med-Surg Unit for Hospitals in Illinois and Florida. As a psychiatrist, you will play a crucial role in providing health care services for patients with behavioral and mental health conditions.

Precise Behavioral (Precise) was established to revolutionize the behavioral healthcare ecosystem for patients, providers, and health plans. Precise is a physician-owned and led organization that enables a mix of digital, telehealth, in-person, and community resources for improved patient outcomes.  Precise Clinical Solutions include; Emergency and Inpatient Telepsychiatry, Hospitalist Physician Management, ED Post-Discharge Follow-Up, and Virtual Outpatient Behavioral Health.

Duties:

• Conduct comprehensive psychiatric evaluations and assessments for the ED/Med-Surg Unit
• Responsible for conducting ED/Med-surg OnDemand consults for Hospitals
• Develop and implement treatment plans for patients
• Provide medication management and monitoring
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure coordinated care
• Keep accurate and up-to-date medical records
• Prescribe medications as necessary

Schedule: On-call 4-12 hours per day

Requirements:

• Medical degree from an accredited institution
• Completion of a psychiatry residency program
• Board certification or eligibility for board certification in psychiatry
• Valid medical license in the state of Illinois and Florida
• Active Illinois DEA and FL DEA

License/Certification:
