IES, Integrative Emergency Services, a physician-owned private practice is recruiting one full-time Pediatric Emergency Medicine Nocturnist physician to join the team in the Children's ER at Tucson Medical Center.
Signing bonus for full-time W2 Nocturnist position with 12 month committment.
TMC for Children:
- Volume: 31,000
- Admission Rate: 5%
- Patients/Hour: 1.5-2 per clinician
- Physician Coverage: 27 hours daily
- Physician Shifts: 9 hours
- APP Coverage: 12 hours daily (18 hours in winter)
- Pedi ED Beds: 14
- Pedi Hospital Beds: 33
- NICU: 42-bed, Level III
- PICU: 12 beds
- EMR: Epic
- Dictation: Dragon
- Full range of pediatric subspecialist physicians on staff including around-the-clock pediatric hospitalists
- Child life specialists on staff
Qualifications
- BC/BE Pediatrician with Pediatric Emergency Medicine fellowship
- or BC Pediatrician with Pediatric Critical Care fellowship & 10 years hospital ER experience
- or BC Pediatrician with 10 years hospital ER experience
- or BC/BE Emergency Medicine physician with Pediatric Emergency Fellowship or combined Adult/Pediatric Emergency Medicine residency.
- Arizona Medical License (or ability to obtain)
- DEA
- PALS & NRP required
