Kettering Health seeks a Hospitalist to integrate into our Medical Hematology and Oncology inpatient service. Job Details and Responsibilities:

  • Primary Work Location (s): Kettering Health Main Campus (Kettering, OH) and Kettering Health Hamilton (Hamilton, OH)
  • Day-to-day patient contact/rounding/care management with active collaboration with all interdisciplinary team members.
  • Daily communication with primary oncology teams who manage cancer care in the outpatient setting.
  • Work to maintain a positive work culture within cross-departmental teams and align this work with other Oncology initiatives.
  • A cohesive team of Hematologists, Medical, Radiation, Surgical, and Uro-oncologists meets weekly to discuss and plan patient treatments.
  • You will be supported by a caring full-time inpatient APP, RN, clinical dietitians, social workers, nurse navigators, financial navigators, managers, and therapists.  
  • Pharmacists and Infusion Center are steps away from the floor.  
  • Hospital-employment w/PSLF qualification
  • Institutional EMR system: Epic

Requirements:

  • MD/DO
  • Completion of an Accreditation Council for Graduate Medical Education (ACGME) or American Osteopathic Association (AOA) accredited residency training program required
  • Completion of an ACGME or AOA-accredited fellowship training program required
