Job Description

Position Overview

Join our inspired, passionate ophthalmology and pediatric surgical teams within the Institute for Surgical Excellence at LVHN, to provide retinopathy of prematurity (ROP) screenings in our Level 4 NICU.  LVHN is a nonprofit community hospital system with over 1,700 beds across 15 full-service hospital campuses and over 2,000 medical staff. The ROP work will be based at our main campus located on Cedar Crest Boulevard in Allentown, PA. There is well established ROP program lead by an ROP coordinator that will support this position and a competitive compensation for this work will be provided.

Qualifications

  • Must be Board Eligible or Board Certified with American Board of Ophthalmology
  • A valid Pennsylvania Medical License or ability to obtain one is required
  • Fellowship trained in Retina or Pediatric Ophthalmology
