The nationally ranked Riley Hospital for Children is seeking a patient-focused Clinical Psychologist to join our multidisciplinary Pediatric Nephrology & Kidney Diseases division, Indiana's only provider of comprehensive evaluation and treatment for children with kidney disease or kidney failure.
Highlights
- Exciting opportunity to expand psychology services to pediatric kidney transplant recipients as an embedded member of a robust interdisciplinary team
- Responsibilities will consist of evaluation, diagnosis and treatment of children and adolescents in pediatric nephrology outpatient clinics primarily at Riley Outpatient Center with a small portion of time at IU North campus
- Primarily work with pediatric kidney transplant patients with dedicated time in the innovative Transplant Transition Clinic fostering skills necessary for disease self-management for adolescents and young adults
- Close collaboration with medical treatment teams including physicians, nurse practitioners, social workers, dieticians, nursing education specialists and other ancillary therapies
- Opportunities to collaborate with Dialysis psychologist and 21 pediatric psychology faculty across medical subspecialties
- Dedicated time for program development and strategic planning for future growth
- Opportunity to provide teaching & supervision for both psychology and medical learners

Qualifications:
- Ideal candidate will have clinical experience working with children, adolescents, and families in the setting of a pediatric hospital system
- Preferred experience in nephrology and/or solid organ transplant
- Successful candidate will have experience implementing evidence-based treatments and assessments across multiple settings
- Experience in program development, implementation and clinical research is also desired
- Strong communication skills, be open to new ideas and opportunities and focus on the Indiana University Health values (purpose, compassion, excellence, team)
- PhD or PsyD in clinical psychology preferred; Counseling and School Psychology doctoral-level candidates with relevant experience will be considered
- Eligible for licensure and independent practice as a HSPP in the state of Indiana
