INTERNAL MEDICINE HOSPITALIST JOB DESCRIPTION HIGHLIGHTS 

We are looking for a full time Internal Medicine Hospitalist Physician interested in building a rehabilitation practice and growing with the community. The hospitalist will round and consult on rehabilitation patients in the hospital and collaboratively work with PM&R and other supporting physicians. This opportunity has a great financial package available including generous income guarantee and full relocation.  Encompass Health has a wonderful group of collegial physicians with plenty of specialty support from local acute care hospitals.

WHERE YOU WILL PRACTICE – JOHNSTON, RI 

Johnston, located in Providence County, has a population just shy of 30,000. A nature lover’s dream, Johnston is home to Snake Den State Park which is located on the Appalachian Trail. With beautiful vistas and tulip fields, this park is a huge draw for visitors to the area. 

QUALIFICATIONS

• MD or DO with state medical license or willingness to obtain state license
• Board Certified or Board Eligible in Internal Medicine or similar specialty
• Patient-centered commitment to excellence
• Excellent interpersonal and communications skills
• Hospital-based physiatry experience preferred
• New Grads Accepted
