Acute Care Surgery and Critical Care

Albany Medical College is seeking a BC/BE Acute Care Surgeon to join our division of Acute Care Surgery and Critical Care.  The Division consists of 13 faculty that staff an ACS verified Level 1 Trauma Center, a 30-bed critical care unit, which provides trauma and acute care surgical services.  Albany Medical Center is the only tertiary care medical center and Level I trauma center in northeastern New York serving a catchment population of 3 million people with approximately 4,600 trauma admissions per year.

This is an excellent opportunity for a Trauma and Critical Care Surgeon who has a strong interest in academic growth. Albany Medical College boasts academic opportunities through its critical care fellowship program, general surgery residency program, its medical school, and opportunities for research. The successful candidate will receive a competitive salary and benefits. Salary Range: $355K - $425K
