Our team consists of 6 surgeons, 7 neurologists, 1 interventional neuroradiologist, 3 physiatrists, and a large team of APPs. Ours is the only independent medical practice in the area that combines neurosurgery, neurology, orthopedic spine surgery, interventional and non-interventional pain management and physical therapy. Position Overview

Neuroscience Group is seeking an enthusiastic and skilled Physiatrist with experience in Interventional Pain to join our collaborative multi-specialty group. Our team consists of 6 surgeons, 7 neurologists, 1 interventional neuroradiologist, 3 physiatrists, and a large team of APPs. We are committed to providing comprehensive and compassionate neurological care to patients in Neenah, Appleton, Green Bay, and beyond, addressing a wide variety of conditions.

 

Role and Responsibilities:

  • Provide expert care in the diagnosis and treatment of patients requiring pain management.
  • Perform interventional pain procedures, including but not limited to epidural steroid injections, medial branch blocks & radiofrequency ablations, spinal cord stimulator trials, nerve blocks, and joint injections.
  • Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to develop and implement individualized treatment plans.
  • Participate in patient education and support, ensuring a holistic approach to pain management.
  • Engage in continuous learning and professional development to maintain the highest standards of patient care.

 

Support and Resources:

  • There will be access to dedicated procedure staff and suites including C-arms, ultrasound, and recovery rooms.
  • Our practice provides ample support staff, including Advanced Practice Providers (APPs), Clinical Assistants, Triage RNs, Billing Support and Coding Specialists, dedicated Prior Authorization and Scheduling staff, and comprehensive Administrative Support. This vast support network allows our providers to focus on delivering the highest level of care to their patients.

 

Ideal Candidate: The ideal candidate will be a board-certified Physiatrist with fellowship training in Interventional Pain (or adequate training and experience). We are seeking a candidate that views Physiatry and Interventional Pain as a calling and not just a paid position. You will be working alongside a multidisciplinary team of dedicated professionals to develop and implement treatment plans. Qualifications

  • Medical degree from an accredited institution
  • Board certification or eligibility in Neurology
  • Valid medical license to practice in Wisconsin
  • Strong clinical skills in physiatry or pain management
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment
