Overview

CHI Saint Joseph Medical Group in Lexington, Kentucky is seeking an Oncologist to join an established group of providers in growing their comprehensive oncology program. The Oncologist provides high quality, comprehensive, accessible and cost effective oncology patient care through clinical expertise, role modeling, mentoring, consultation, interdisciplinary collaboration and utilization of research. We offer the latest in cancer-care technology, including indication-specific use of the latest FDA approved drugs, state-of-the-art linear accelerator based radiation therapy and strong partnerships with other providers such as surgeons who use da Vinci® Xi surgical system for less pain and faster recovery.

Responsibilities

Essential Duties:

  • Understand, support, and implement the mission of the facility to deliver health care to those in need in the performance of all job responsibilities.
  • Ensure that patient care meets or exceeds the facility quality standards.
  • Ensure that patient satisfaction meets or exceeds standards set by the facility.
  • Educate patients on both clinical and managed care.
  • Participate in clinic and network task forces as requested and appropriate.
  • Function as an effective clinic team member.
  • Meet productivity standards.
  • Effectively use clinic financial and other performance information.

Education:
Board Certified - or eligible


License/Certification:
Kentucky Licensure


Pay Range
$206.94 - $381.71 /hour
